Career details

I have been involved in technical and scientific communication at both specialist and non-specialist level since 2001, and am a member of the Canberra Society of Editors and the Australian Society for Technical Communication (NSW).

My professional qualifications include a PhD in biology from the Australian National University (ANU), more than ten years experience in scientific research at ANU and at the University of Sydney, as well as professional training in technical and scientific writing and editing (Canberra Institute of Technology).

As a technical writer and editor, I have worked on documents from many areas, including information technology, biology, agriculture, biosecurity, health, human resources and accounting.

In science, I specialise in environmental, biological, biotechnological and agricultural sciences. As a technical writer, I specialise in computer software manuals.
